A big thank you to Amrit for coming in to talk to us about Diwali last week. The children really enjoyed listening to the story.
In Letters and Sounds we will be playing “Describe and find it” which is part of our phase 1 work.
This week we will be:
* Talking about our feelings and saying what makes us feel happy and sad.
*Looking at books, handing the carefully and turning the pages nicely.
*Listening to and following instructions.
*Using number names in our play.
*Using movement to express our feelings.
*Practicing building up our hand and arm muscles at our Funky Finger station.
The children will completing a counting activity….seeing if they can count up to 3, then 5 and then 10. We will continue to go into our Key Worker groups at the end of the session for a story and rhymes/songs.
The weather is getting cooler now so please make sure your child has a coat everyday! Remember hats, scarves and gloves on those chilly days. Please remember to name all of your child’s clothes and coats!
On Friday 18th November the children are invited to wear something spotty for Children In Need. There will be a pot on the self-registration table at the start of each session for you to put your donations in.
Thank you to those who have contributed to our planning board. Feel free to write any other ideas on there J
